A mother and daughter who have both become part of Corner House Trafford's working life are among the family connections being celebrated as the nursery marks its 30th anniversary.

Rebecca joined the Trafford Park setting as an apprentice in 1997 and has since progressed to senior regional operations manager.

Her daughter Lilly attended the nursery as a child. She now works there as an educator, continuing a family connection that began during her mother's early career.

Three decades of memories

Corner House Trafford says some members of its team have been with the setting for its full 30 years. Its anniversary will recognise staff as well as the children and families who have been part of the nursery's history.

Rebecca and Lilly's connection is one of the stories the team hopes to celebrate, alongside memories from other former and current families.

The nursery is inviting people who have been part of its story, together with members of the local community, to an anniversary open day on Saturday 10 October 2026.
